Description This item is the second of four letters in this collection written by William Victor Tranter while serving in the military with the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force during the First World War.

The letter is written in black ink and addressed to his sister. In it, he mentions that he expects to be putting in two months training in France soon. He also mentions including a parcel of items, such as little Irish green marble pigs that were souvenirs from Ireland.
