Description From "Research Methodology" section: this paper is the "result of self directed research and comes from the stories told at Saugeen First Nation. History books, including bibliographies and directories, as well as archival records, theses and census rolls provided the documentation to support the oral history contained in this document. It is based in the oral tradition of my people and have been passed to me - from my mother - from her father or mother and other stories were given to her by Chief Mason."
