|Provenance||This book was part of the personal library of Dr. Peter Schmalz. The library was created for the purpose of researching and writing history related mainly to the First Nations of Bruce County. Dr. Schmalz used his library to research and write a master's thesis, a doctoral thesis, numerous learned articles, several books, and reports for the Ministry of Natural Resources, First Nations communities, the provincial government, and the federal government. The library reflects his major interest in aboriginal contact with Europeans.|
