"Dear Mrs. Macgregor,
It is with feelings of great pleasure that we the Southampton Auxiliary of the Women's Foreign missionary Society have assembled here this afternoon.
During the whole term of the existence of this Auxiliary you have been one of its most devoted members, you have been very faithful in your attendance at meetings, ever generous in your contributions, and have always shown in every way your heartfelt interest in the great cause of missions: we therefore feel that it is a great delight for us to recognize this by making you a LIFE MEMBER of the Society and would ask you to accept this Certificate with the hearty good-will and wishes of all the members of this Auxiliary, and our prayers for God's blessing on you, that you may long continue your interest in every good work.
'The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil; He hall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in, form this time forth, and for evermore.' Ps. 121-7, 8.
Signed in behalf of Auxiliary, Elizabeth Macdonald, President, Southampton, Mar. 24th, 1914."
