The fonds reflects the musical career of Harold Button and the music played by his Orchestra. The fonds consists primarily of sheet music, music books, musical arrangements and manuscripts used by Harold Button and his Orchestra. This Certificate of Service in the Great European War was presented to Private David Stewart Finlayson, known as "Stewart." The colourful certificate includes images of a portrait of King George V, battleship, mounted soldier, beaver, rifles, swords and field guns. Information inscribed on the Certificate includes "Pte. David Stewart Finlayson. Enlisted at Kincardine Ont. Feb. 10, 1916, in the 160 Bruce Battalion C.E.F."
