This colourized post card features view of Saugeen River taken from a high vantage point atop the riverbank. In the upper right corner of the card are illustrated insignias for the Canadian provinces. The card bears a title in red typeset: "Clay Banks, Walkerton, Ont., Canada".
On the reverse, a handwritten message is addressed to Miss Irene Butchart, R.R. NO 4, Clifford. There are two postmarks that are illegible except for Paisley and SP. Two Canadian one-cent "War Tax" stamps are affixed to the reverse.

|Provenance||This postcard was part of the collection of Bruce Arthur Krug. Following his death on May 21, 2013, his Estate sold his postcards at a series of sales in 2013. The Bruce County Historical Society purchased over 1,500 postcards at the auction, including this card, for donation to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre.|
