Description The image on this postcard features people vacationing along the Lake Huron shoreline. Four cars are parked on the beach and they appear to be models from the 1930s. Children are playing in the sand and others are swimming or sunbathing. Cottages are pictured in the background. The card bears the title in white typeset:"Lake Huron Beach looking north, Inverhuron, Ontario." There is an illegible postmark on the front of the card. The card is addressed to Mrs. D.McKitterick Lakeview [P U] Ont and is from Bob.

Provenance This postcard was part of the collection of Bruce Arthur Krug. Following his death on May 21, 2013, his Estate sold his postcards at a series of sales in 2013. The Bruce County Historical Society purchased over 1,500 postcards at the auction, including this card, for donation to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre.
