It was published by The Musson Book Company Ltd., Toronto and printed by Oxford University Press. This book has a dark brown or faded black leather cover with embossed gold cross in lower right corner and gold lettering on cover. The inscription on the page facing the title page reads "Captain Wm. McG. Lambert, Southampton, Ont., Dec. 11, 1909," indicating it belonged to Captain William MacGregor Lambert, who was lighthouse keeper at Chantry Island, 1880-1907.
