Description A green, wool, military winter hat. It has ear flaps which can be tied up or down with brown ribbon. There is a button on the top. The front flap appears to be buttoned, but is actually tacked in place. The hat is lined with a soft, brown material. "A McK" is handwritten in black inside.
Provenance The military hat belonged to Allan McKenzie who served in the Canadian Army Supplies and Munitions Depot during the Second World War. He was ranked as Company Quarter Master Sergeant.
Allan McKenzie was a resident of Port Elgin, Ontario.
