Description A bronze Victory Medal with an angel on the front: a circle of laurel leaves
on the back and " The Great War for Civilization 1914-1919"
Rainbow coloured ribbon is attached. The outer edge of the medallion has "622778 Pte. L. Glover 52-CAN. ."
Provenance The medal was awarded to Pte. Lloyd Irving Glover who died October 6, 1916 during Battle of the Somme.
He was the son of Joseph Andrew and Rachael Elizabeth Glover, of Wiarton, Ontario. Lloyd was a member of the 52nd Batallion, C.E.F.
