Description

Aerial photographs created by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources in 1978. They feature Bruce Township, spanning from around Concession 5 in the former Kincardine Township, north to the Bruce-Saugeen townline. Includes Tiverton and the site of Bruce Power, formerly operated by Ontario Hydro.

These images consist of vertical aerial photography, where the photographs were taken directly overhead with the axis of the camera perpendicular or nearly vertical to the ground at the time of exposure. Most of the photographs are grouped by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources Forest Registry Inventory (FRI) basemap numbering system.

FRI Reference Numbers range between 78-4415 and 78-4425. Map key is included.
