This set of reproduced sessional papers features the title "Canada sessional papers No. 5" and dates to 1875. Along the upper left corner of each page is "38 Victoria." The first two pages of this sessional paper reference the casualties that occurred within the different divisions during the year ending on December 31 1874. The rest of the pages for this sessional paper contain lists providing information relating to the vessels built and registered in 1874, the steam vessels inspected, the number of vessels added to the Dominion, statement of wrecks and casualties to sea-going vessels, a statement of wrecks and casualties to inland vessels, and a list of certificates of competency and service granted to masters and mates.
