A2017.093.002a - Map #2201, Georgian Bay, was surveyed by Staff Comdr. J.G. Boulton, R.N., and Mr. W.J. Stewart, 1884-1901 with additions from Canadian Hydrographic Surveys to 1964. This is the newest edition released July 8 1966. The map is stamped along the lower border with the message: "Corrected through notices to mariners. Edition 11. Mar. 16 67. Canada Hydrographic Service. Ottawa, Ont."
This map was meant for nautical use. Bearings, sailing distances in nautical miles, and soundings in fathoms are given.
