Description |
This collection of graduation cards include: 12 greeting cards and 2 small cards congratulating Ethel McLaughlin on graduating from nursing school in 1934. 1 small purple booklet that reads "School for Nurses / Toronto General Hospital" in between the lines of text is an emblem and a ribbon with a Latin motto. Inside it reads " Housemen's Dance / in honour of / the Graduating Class / 1934 / Friday May Eleventh". 1 photograph of a young girl on a board in the water titled "What is it?". On the reverse of the picture it is dated June 3, 1932 and has a brief message about a mermaid. Attached to the photograph is a newspaper clipping of a personal submission that begins with "I love the nurses". |
