Description |
This folder consists of 1894 certificates for lands sold for taxes completed by the Bruce County treasurer and related documents. The certificates identify the purchaser, purchase price, and legal property description. Most certificates also list the purchaser's town or village of residence, and some list their occupation. A small number of the certificates are under Municipal Corporations. Most certificates have a note such as "Deed No # issued" written on top of the certificate. [Description Note: Names have been added to the People Authority File Field for legible full names identified on one or more certificates.] |
