This photocopied letter from the Ontario Geographic Names Board in Toronto, concerns the proposed name of Lucky Lake for the lake on Lot 33, Concession 4 of Albermarle Township, Ontario. The letter, addressed to Ronald L. Carlson of Wiarton, Ontario, indicates that the proposal was successful and Lucky Lake was adopted by the Board at its January 19, 1973 meeting. Also included is a photocopy of a brief writeup about the origins of the lake. |
