Description

This report lists the value of lands and buildings in Bruce County townships for the year 1926. The report has been prepared and signed by the valuators, Alex Robertson, Caleb Brown, and D.S. McDonald. Also signed by A. Nelson, notary public.

For each township, a sample of properties have been evaluated. Entries list the property description, the number of acres, the value of the land, the value of the buildings, and the total value. The report lists both the valuation and assessment for 1926, the total for each township is also provided and compared.

A narrative evaluation at the end of the report comments on the trends in farming and property upkeep in Bruce County townships. Also included is a list of male population between the ages of 21 to 60 years residing in the rural municipalities of the County of Bruce.
