Provenance

This item belonged to Lieutenant William Clark Ostic during his service in the First World War. It was part of the contents of his foot locker while in service. His foot locker and its contents were donated to the BCM&CC in 2017.
Ostic was born December 12, 1887 in Walkerton, Ontario. He served with the 4th Battalion Canadian Infantry and was killed in action on August 8, 1918.
