The folder includes: 1976, April 26: Appeal to service clubs and chambers of commerce for donations to help equip and staff the archives. 1977, June 17: Bruce County council makes no grant in 1977 to the Archives Committee. 1977, Dec. 9: Eight suggestions from the Board of Education on how the Archives Committee might help students and teachers. 1977, December: Budgets received from Wellington County Museum, Simcoe County Archives, Perth County Historical Board. 1978, Jan. 17: Budget of Bruce County Archives Committee presented to county council. March 27, no grant given in 1978. 1978, May 16: Grant of $10,330 from New Horizons Program, to Bruce County Archives Group. 1978, Nov. 1: Supplies to the Bruce County Archives Project arrive water damaged; prospects of a half-time archivist. 1979, Jan. 22: Possible demolition of Schoolhouse, Inverhuron. June 11 letter from Ratepayers Association. 1979, Mar. 22: Claus Breede involved with the Archives Project. |
