This item titled "Letters from Overseas : Bruce County and the First World War" is a compilation of letters that describe events and experiences of the First World War. Not all of the individuals who wrote the letters came from Bruce County - however, all of the letters were published in local (Bruce County) newspapers.
This hardcopy version is a second edition of the original publication (2019), updated and revised in 2025. The updates in this version include approximately 15 letters and an index.
In the words of the author who compiled this book, "It is the story of Canadian soldiers of the Great War, told in their own words".
A glossary of terms is included in the appendix.
