Description |
This catalogue No. 47 has a light blue paper cover with dark blue typesetting and blue decorative design. The initial pages consist of a page with illustrations of the exterior of two factories entitled "The Krug Bros. Co. Limited, Chesley, Ontario, established in 1886" and "The Chesley Chair Co. Limited, makers of 'Heirloom' chests, Chesley, Ontario." This is followed by a message "To the Trade", "Our terms and shipping information," and index. The following pages feature brown & white photograph images of furniture made and sold by Krug Bros. Company Limited furniture manufacturers. Under the photographs are listed suite or item no., and specifications which may include size, design particulars, and/or materials. Part of pages 59 and 60 is cut out. The last 8 pages consist of The Chesley Chair Company Limited supplement with images and descriptions of furniture, including Heirloom Chests, manufactured by that company. This catalogue was part of a collection of catalogues maintained by Krug Bros. Co'y Limited until the business ceased to operate in 1987. At that time, Bruce and Howard Krug took care of the collection. Following the death of Bruce Krug in 2013, his Estate provided the catalogues to the Bruce County Museum. |
