This ledger reflects the business of Roulston Rinker's grocery store, Queen Street, Kincardine, from 1889 to 1904. Each page contains one or more customer names and place of residence, along with a list of dates, merchandise purchased, purchase prices, and amounts paid. (See "People" field for a sampling of names taken from the first 80 pages of the 600-page book.) |

These ledgers (A2014.045.019-.022) were left in the building previously used by Roulston Rinker as a store. A subsequent business owner provided the ledgers to Kincardine historian Bill Pace, who donated them to the Bruce County Museum in 2014. |
