This booklet is the history of the Saugeen Valley. It is the result of comprehensive research by the staff of the Ontario Department of Planning and Development. This history was published in the first draft of the Saugeen Valley Conservation Report 1952. Prohibitive printing costs prevented this comprehensive history from being published in its entirety in the final printed publication. A limited run was disseminated in this form.
