These pages are part of series 2, file 1 (Saugeen First Nation and Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation related documents - Saugeen Nawash claims). This folder contains papers photocopied from National Archives of Canada in 1971. "Chippewas of Saugeen and Owen Sound General Account", 1862 shows money from land sales and how the money was spend. Note by donor, Dr. Peter S. Schmalz: "This is just an example of many thousands of documents at the N.A.C. on this topic." The folder also includes pages from 1860 with headings "Receiver General", "General Management Fund," and "Indian Land Management Fund." |
