Three manuscripts on Arran Township history, unsigned, undated; "Arran Township", 3 pp., telephone, power, schools; "Arran Township", 3 pp., reeves, telephone, hydro power, schools; "War Services", 9 pp., 160th Battalion, the Tara enlistees named, Military Cross award to Melville Davis, address of welcome to Sir William Hearst; Governor General stops at Tara; Arran Honor Roll at Arkwright, 1946. Life of Allenford's founder, James Allen, recorded by son, A.M. Allen. 1973 - Allenford United Church 100th anniversary. 1982 - General store closing in Allenford; Harvey Plant. 1973 - 94 years of practice for Lucy (Kerr) Langford of Allenford. 1979 - Bob Moore joined 160th Battalion at Tara.
