This black autograph notebook with coloured pages was owned by Dorothy (Anness) France of Paisley, Ontario. It is filled with uplifting, and sometimes rhyming, quotes handwritten by various friends. Most quotes are dated in the top right corner of the page and several include "Paisley, Ontario" under the date. Each quote starts with "Dear Dorothy." The majority of quotes are signed "Your friend" and then the name of the writer. Included are quotes about friendship, love, marriage, and aging. |
