This catalogue No. 26 has a taupe cover with brown print. Orange pencil writing on front cover: "W.P. Krug, Catalogue with Corrections etc." Taped to the first blank page is a newspaper clipping "J.B. Bowes Regrets Error: Gives New Forecasts" concerning a letter to the editor from J.B. Bowes of Chatsworth concerning an error in his weather forecast for January 1924. The catalogue contains an illustration of the factory exterior entitled "our factory" errata tag, a message "To the Trade", "Our terms and shipping information,", index, and black & white photographs of furniture offered for sale by Krug Bros. Company Limited furniture manufacturers. Under the photographs are listed suite or item no., and specifications which may include size, weight, design particulars, and/or materials. Contains handwritten notes. The last 24 pages are "The Chesley Chair Company, Limited Catalogue No. 24" supplement. This catalogue was part of a collection of catalogues maintained by Krug Bros. Co'y Limited until the business ceased to operate in 1987. At that time, Bruce and Howard Krug took care of the collection. Following the death of Bruce Krug in 2013, his Estate provided the catalogues to the Bruce County Museum. |
