Description |
This is the second in a collection of 10 scrapbooks created by Mrs. Lila A. McLean. Address label is pasted on inside back cover: "Mrs. Lila A. McLean, RR #2, Cargill, Ontario Canada." It is a red hard-cover book with title "Scrap Book" and nature scene photograph on front. It consists of newspaper clippings focusing on people and events in the area of Glamis, Bruce County, Ontario. The clippings consist chiefly of community columns, obituaries, wedding/marriage notices, birth notices. Other articles include: - "Association of Baptist Churches Meeting Here", 1930 - "Beautiful Inverhuron", 1930 - "Special Meering, Address and Presentation" re: Glamis Prayer Union - "Glamis P.M. Active in Politics, Charged" re: A.A.
