4 posters bearing BCM&CC Southampton photographs, posted during the Southampton 150th celebrations in 2008. Some posters have a sticker, "Brought to you by Canadian Heritage [Canada flag]" The caption for each is "Can You Name The People??" These posters were intended for people passing by to stop and identify anyone in the photograph that they knew by writing on those names. Photographs in our collection duplicating those on the posters with identifications were updated with the names provided. Notes were added as to the source of the names. Images included: 001 - Fitton Parker Furniture Ltd., staff 1953; Men's baseball team 002 - Dominion Plywoods factory, staff 1953; Men's curling team 003 - Hepworth Furniture factory, staff 1950; 5 small children in winter clothing 004 - Hepworth Furniture factory, staff 1953; parade float "Queen and ladies in waiting" An identification list is attached. |
