This Catalogue No. 78 has a glossy green cover cover with black and white typeset. Inside front cover features an map showing Chesley location within Southern Ontario; facing page is a photograph of Krug Bros. Co. Limited furniture factory, taken from high vantage point, entitled "The Home of Krug Furniture established in 1886." Page 2 lists quality features found in Krug Furniture. Page 3 consists of the index. The following pages feature black & white photograph images of furniture made and sold by Krug Bros. Co'y Limited furniture manufacturers. Under the photographs are listed suite or item no., and specifications which may include size, design particulars, and/or materials. Page 17 features a photograph image entitled "Krug Tree Farms: producing Saugeen Brand Pure Maple Syrup" (showing winter scene of men walking through trees towards wood house and horse and wagon.) Page 64 features a photograph image entitled "Krug Tree Farms: Reforestation - timber for the future" showing a forest. This catalogue was part of a collection of catalogues maintained by Krug Bros. Co'y Limited until the business ceased to operate in 1987. At that time, Bruce and Howard Krug took care of the collection. Following the death of Bruce Krug in 2013, his Estate provided the catalogues to the Bruce County Museum. |
