The S.H.O.W. Garden Club had its first informal organizational meeting in February 1993. A steering committee was established who proposed the name of the club. The purpose would be to educate and encourage gardeners in the Sauble, Hepworth, Oliphant and Wiarton areas to enjoy gardening and be considerate of the environment. (Sanders, Ian.
