Description |
This folder, labelled "Slides from Mac Campbell", contains 35 mm. colour slides falling under the notation "Box 1". The slides are not numbered by hand; some have imprinted numbers. All slides are annotated with subject and location; some are annotated with a year. The slides are mostly dated by machine; the years printed or embossed give processing dates of 1966, 1967, 1975, 1978, 1979, 1980 and 1993. An included typed index of two pages is titled "Historical Slides North of Highway 9". The index lists 15 towns and townships, from "Walkerton" to "Cape Croker". There are 36 individual slides listed, which are rough matches to the slides in this folder. The typed index refers to "slides taken by M. Campbell" and "M. Campbell willing to take other picture ...". Some slides bears the annotation W. Walsh, H. Wightman, H.L., E.R. or MMC. An additional manuscript index of two pages, "Tiverton Slides", lists 31 "Historical" slides, dated 1965, 1966 and 1967, and four "Non-historical" slides, undated. The slide annotations read as follows. PAGE ONE "Row 1" SS#1 Huron Twp. [S.S. No. 1 Huron Township school] Pine River United Church - Huron Twp. Maple Hill - Mill Race - Aug '80 Pt.
