Description

This scrapbook contains photographs and other souvenirs from the "Albemarle Township 'The Pride of the Peninsula' Bicentennial" held July 14-15, 1984.

On the cover page is a pamphlet from the event and a red ribbon both read "Albemarle Township Bicentennial 1984". In the top right corner is a sticker featuring the official provincial bicentennial logo.

The inside pages feature photographs of the events.

The final page is a certificate that reads "From the people of Ontario our heartfelt thanks to Township of Albemarle for helping us to celebrate together in our Bicentennial Year" signed by the Premier William G. Davis, his assistant Margaret Birch, and the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Claude F. Bennett.
