This item is part of Schmalz fonds, series 2, file 9 (Saugeen First Nation and Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation publications) This folder includes a report and a photocopy of a looseleaf booklet entitled "The Saugeen : a living history," published by Owen Sound Public Library, 1978, which was the result of a summer 1978 project instigated by the Owen Sound Public Library. Includes copy of letter from Owen Sound Library to Social Development Officer, Secretary of State Department, Sept. 19, 1978. Project leaders who participated in interviewing members of Saugeen First Nations and who wrote the booklet were: Corrine Roote, Sharon Solomon, and Sandra Kewaquom.
