Description |
This folder consists of two business letters sent to Nathaniel Leeder Sr.: A991.047.018-001: Letter sent from [Thomas Young?] to N.E. Leeder. Dated February 20th, 1872, it informs Leeder he is "hereby appointed one of a committee to investigate the bids on the mar'l [road?] from [Dobberman?] to [Dainsburg?] to meet at the [?] school house at 2 o'clock p.m. on the 2 day of March 72." He is also informed he is "authorized to recieve bids if they do not exceed $1.00." A991.047.018-002: Letter and envelope sent from Samuel Roether to N.E. Leeder. Dated April 2, 1888, the letter concerns County government matters, such as monthly costs and fines. The envelope is addressed to N.E. Leeder, Esq in Port Elgin and postmarked Walkerton. |
