Description

This certificate is printed on white paper and has a blue decorative border of leaves that incorporate the provincial crests around the entire perimeter. At the bottom is an image of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa and at the top the Canadian crest.

This certificate was presented to Albemarle Township Council on the grand opening of the new Municipal Administrative Building on March 3, 1995 by Ovid L. Jackson, the Member of Parliament for the Bruce-Grey area.

This item was collected by the Albemarle Township Historical Society in the course of its research and writing related to the creation the book "Albemarle: a History of the Township" published in 1991.
