First edition. From the foreword: "In this Record of the Queen's Bush, it may be stated that the great majority of the incidents and occurrences noted therein are true and based on fact. A little poetic license has been used in Chapter XXXII in regard to the means of frustrating Justice, but in justification it may be stated that for over 50 years it has been a Tradition in the Bruce Country that the murderer did survive the Gallows." Written inside front cover, "S. S. No. 11, Huron, No. 842". |
