The Grey, Bruce, Dufferin & Simcoe Postal History Study Group (of the Postal History Society of Canada) was founded in 1998. It researches postal institutions of the Georgian Bay region of Ontario (and all areas of Georgian Bay beginning around 2012. Its quarterly newsletter was first entitled "The Grey, Bruce, Dufferin & Simcoe Postal History Study Group Newsletter" and as of issue 35 in 2005, the name changed to "The Georgian Courier."
