During the Second World War, Edna moved from the family farm in the Listowel area to Kincardine to work at Malcolm Furniture Factory planing the shrouds for the wings of Mosquito bombers. After the war, she worked at Botany Spinning Mill, Kincardine. After marrying Orland, the couple moved to a farm in Kincardine Township. Edna served on the Carrick Camp Board, Bruce County historical Society, Bruce County Museum and Archives Committee, and the Tiverton Friendly Folk Executive. |
