Fred Bearman fought in the Boer War at the age of 18. He worked for the C.N.R. for three years before entering the service of the C.P.R. for 35 years.

Places

After fighting in the Boer War, he returned to Chesley and went to Cuba with his family. After his father's death, the family returned to Chesley. Fred retired to Owen Sound, and at the time of his death, Fred W. Bearman was living at his residence in Owen Sound, 1158 4th Ave. East.
