Gordon Hepburn was a rural mail carrier for a number of years. He was also a carpenter and cabinet maker, with a special interest in farm tools. He was curator of the Bruce County Museum, Southampton, from 1961 to 1973. Gordon served as Secretary-Treasurer of Hope Bay School, U.S.S. No. 7 Eastnor & Albemarle, 1927. Gordon was active in his community as a member of the Loyal Orange Lodge and of Christ Anglican Church and of the Anglican Synod. |
