Hardie Sanderson was born in Chesley in 1916. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. Hardie enlisted in 1943 and gained the title of Leading Aircraftsman. Hardie was stationed at Trenton and Clinton. Upon the completion of the war, Hardie and his family settled in Toronto where hs became a salesman for G.H. Woods. On February 13, 1956, Hardie passed away. |
