Enlisted in the R.C.A.F. in July, 1942 and served in Canada with the Trenton Airbase being her longest posting after training and a posting in Ottawa. Thelma became a corporal in the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War. She became the National Cover Girl for the R.C.A.F. magazine. She served until July, 1946. Thelma was often a soloist in high school musicals and in church. |
