Appointed by Ontario government for Provincial Constable and License Inspector until age of 70 when he retired.

Places

Came with his parents to the County of Bruce in 1855 when he was 9 months old. Parents settled in the Township of Brant. At 9 y/o, the family moved to Amabel Township. Moved to Walkerton w/ wife Eliza in 1898.
