On November 25, 1894, William Wood was born in England. In January of 1916, William enlisted with the Army and became a member of the 160 Battalion, Company B. During World War I, he served in Canada, England and France. In May of 1919, William was discharged from the Army and he returned to Chesley. He worked at Krug's Furniture Factory until it closed. William was an active member of the Chesley Legion Branch 144. |
