The 1871 census shows Nelson, at age 11, residing in the district of Waterloo North. The 1881 census shows Nelson in Selkirk, Winnipeg, Manitoba as a Boot and Shoe Dealer. (He was operating a leather house for his father, Henry Zinkan). The 1891 and 1901 censuses show Nelson residing in Southampton, Ontario The 1916 census shows him residing in Edmonton West, Alberta. At the time of N.B.'s wife Lucinda's death in 1932, he was residing in Edmonton, Alberta. |
