Description |
"Francis P. Richie" was a wooden schooner yacht originally known as "The Marguerite". It was built around 1888 by George Lawly & Sons of Boston, MA; it was renamed "Nancy" in 1925, and then renamed again as "Francis P. Richie, also in 1925. In 1929, it was purchased by Ralph Peller of Chicago, IL, and brought into the Great Lakes. It was wrecked on August 29, 1931 on its way to Miami, FL.
