Description |
This paddlewheeler steamer was originally built in Delaware in 1891. Changes were made to the ship later. The ship went through several name changes. While under Canadian ownership, it was known as "King Edward" from 1902 to 1910 and "Forest City" from 1910 to 1922. Then, under United States ownership, its name changed to "Montauk." Its most consistent Canadian owner was Algoma Central & Hudson Bay Railway Co., Ltd. which owned the ship from 1903 to 1911.
