"Southampton Remembered" was started as a souvenir of memories to commemorate Southampton's 150th Anniversary. It is a compilation of personal stories, poems, songs and pictures.
Includes a list of reeves and mayors of Southampton.
Reminiscences in the book include references to: Wally Scott's Orchestra, roller skating, Southampton Junior Rifle Club, bowling alley, pool hall, swimming lessons at the long dock, Breakers hotel, 1954 HurricaneHazel train crash, dance hall, McNabb range light (back range light), recovery of Jackson Bros. fishing tug, cocktail parties, post office, the beach, Aunt Annie, Capt. John Spence, HMS General Hunter beach excavation, and The Silver Moon restaurant.
