A historical fiction based on true dates and details of the Lauchlan McNeill family, who moved from Colonsay, Scotland to Bruce County. This is the second book in a series that tells the story of the McNeills as they find their way to Elderslie, Arran or Saugeen Townships. This book tells the story of Lauchlan, his sons and grandsons, who were leaders in the early days of the Baptist Church. As the author writes, "Soon they were joined by other families who had immigrated from Colonsay to Prince Edward Island one generation earlier and by families who had settled in other parts of Ontario."
